March 6, 2008, 6:30 PM

Topic: "What You Absolutely, Positively Need to Know About Your Client's Brain...
Learn How to Recognize and Work With All Things A.D.D.-ish and Have
Fun Doing It
!"

Speaker: Dr. Miriam Reiss, DSS, MCC

Location: Community Center, Mercer Island, WA (For directions, click here)

Chuck avoids details, Suzanne misses coaching sessions, and Charles seems moody. Would you, as a career counselor/coach, recognize Charles Schwab, Suzanne Somer, and Prince Charles as having ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder)?

Chances are, you will be lucky enough to have ADD or ADT (Attention Deficit Trait) clients in your career counseling future. What you may not realize is that you're probably already working with them now.
There are 12 million individuals diagnosed with ADD in the U.S. alone. It is estimated that over 85% of ADD'ers are still undiagnosed.

In this thought-provoking, paradigm-shifting, educational workshop, Miriam Reiss will demonstrate, through words and music, how to recognize and coach all things ADD-ish. She'll share her personal journey with ADD. She'll share her spiritual perspective on why ADD is now showing up in record numbers. Most of all, she'll share why you, as a career leader, need to pay attention to this
important phenomenon. This is a compelling and illuminating workshop you won't want to miss!

Key Take-Aways:

- Raise your awareness, educate, and inform about ADD and ADD-like behaviors in your clients; and how to work with clients who show up with these behaviors.

- Adopt a new, more positive paradigm around how ADD is viewed by your clients and the general public.

- Increase your level of knowledge, skill base, and overall professionalism in the ADD and brain-quality arena.

- Have fun and the opportunity to learn from someone who's had extensive experience coaching ADD clients around their careers.
