PSCDA celebrated 20 years during 2007!
There was a special PSCDA 20th Year Party, which was held on February 23, 2007 in Seattle, WA to honor our association, its founders, and all the members who have done a lot to contribute to its growth over the years.

Hats off to PSCDA Members, who presented at the July 2007 National Career Development Association (NCDA) Global Conference in Seattle...

Kate Duttro, University of Washington, Carol Forte, Bellevue Community College, and Carmen Croonquist, University of Wisconsin – Riverfalls, gave an excellent presentation, called "Career Growth Through the Portfolio Process: Help Your Clients Maximaize Their Potential" at the NCDA Global Conference on July 5th, 2007.

Also, Suzy Mygatt Wakefield, Editor of her recently published book, Unfocused Kids (Helping Students to Focus on Their Education and Career Plans), presented at this conference her latest perspectives about career development and ten steps to help at-risk teens. Click here to order her book.

To Become a Member, or to Renew Your Membership:

PSCDA has added to our website a new membership database, whereby you may join or renew online, plus update any of your contact information at any time.

How to Join PSCDA:
1. Click on "Join PSCDA Today!" green button located above.

2. Create a password and enter your contact information

3. Once you press the save button, you will receive an email containing your username and password.

4. When PSCDA receives your check in the mail, we will activate your account and you will have access to our directory of members and members-only resources. (Note: If you sent your check over the summer, give us 1-3 days to activate your account.)

PSCDA's Web Team has been in the process of updating this recently re-designed PSCDA website, which now includes some added "members only" features, a membership database, plus other useful resources. PSCDA Webmaster, Mixie Kingman Eddy, who worked on the overall new design of this site, thanks especially our web consultant, Steve Horste and past PSCDA President, Susan Lauzac, for implementing the new database and Listserv, plus the following PSCDA members for their advice: Kitty Kitnikone, Jennifer Lynham, Tom Washington, and Kate Duttro.
