The Gray-Headed
Tsunami: Coping with the Forthcoming Human Resource Crisis. The Baby
Boomer retirement wave will have an increasing impact on
the workplace as valuable employees and leaders will walk
out the door taking their tacit smarts with them. Furthermore,
there will be a shortage of skilled personnel to replace
them.
David Dunning
will describe the crisis and two ways to be pro-active
and manage it and how career development counselors
can be of invaluable assistance to organizations to help
them cope with the crisis.
David Dunning holds
a Ph.D. in Human Development from the Fielding Institute,
a Master of Arts in Adult Education/Human Resources
Development from George Washington University, and a Masters
in Divinity from Colgate.
